1/Africain wushu championship  1996: 06/11/2006 the Minister for the culture, of the sports and leisures, in a press conference given Friday November 3, 2006 to the Sport hall, brought the truth on the circumstances which surround the organization or not  of the second africain wushu  championship  . The minister in load of the sports, Theophilus Montcho, threatened to withdraw the agreement which it gave to the Beninese Federation of wushu to organize the second Africain  wushu championship . In his press conference of last Friday to the Sport hall, Theophilus Montcho explained that instructions close are given to the secretary-general of the ministry to let it know this Monday, by correspondence, with the Beninese Federation of wushu. On a concern of a journalist, the minister explained how he did not want any more to engage the responsibility for the Beninese State in this organization, which is the subject of attack on behalf of the president of the Federation of wushu. The minister Theophilus Montcho said that it received, on behalf of the president of the Beninese Federation of wushu, Patrice Kobénan, a correspondence inviting it to authorize the organization of the championship of Africa of wushu with Cotonou. 'This organization was not in the work programme of the season of the Beninese Federation of wushu. However, I asked my frameworks to make a communication in this direction in the Council of Ministers so that the State supports the organization financially. The communication was made and deposited. But meanwhile, the supreme Court asked me to give him explanations on the disagreement between the wushu and the kung fu because one of the parts complained with it. Then, I decided to withdraw the communication of the Council of Ministers while waiting for the verdict of the supreme Court. I received the president of the Federation of wushu and I let him know my step in front of witnesses. I said to him that under these conditions, the State cannot engage its expenses any more. However:(I decided to authorize it to organize the championship without the State aid. What was made) , explained the minister. But this last let know that in spite of its step, it was made attack, by the president of the Federation of wushu, in the press and through the grognes. And it is because of this attitude of the president of the Federation of wushu that the minister decided to withdraw the agreement of organization of the championship of Africa of wushu with Cotonou. 'I said to the president of the national Committee Olympic and sporting Beninese that my ministry will not inject any more any penny in the activities of Kung fu and wushu until the supreme Court does not slice the disagreement. It is to help the family of wushu that in spite of the disagreement which exists between Kung-fu and wushu, I financed the organization of the national championship and the preparation of the national selection for the African competition ,hammered Theophilus Montcho.
